How to login to Trello - Confluence - Jira

This article applies to all Trello, Confluence, and Jira users using accounts registered under @uvu.edu email addresses. This includes both individual (10XXXXXX@uvu.edu) and generic (mydepartment@uvu.edu) accounts.

Instructions

1. Go to https://start.atlassian.com. This will redirect you to the login page.

2. Click “Continue with Microsoft”.

3. If the email for the Atlassian account you’re logging into is listed click the account name (and skip to step 5) or click “Use another account”. Go to the next step if you do not see either option.

4. If you’re logging into your individual Atlassian account enter your uvid@uvu.edu (e.g., 10XXXXXX@uvu.edu). If you’re logging into a generic account please enter the generic account email instead (e.g., mydepartment@uvu.edu).

5. You’ll then be redirected to our login page where you can enter the account’s password and click “Sign In”. This is the same password you would use to login to the account’s email. If you were already signed in please skip to step 7.

6. If you are presented with a DUO prompt, perform the necessary DUO authentication.

7. If you receive a permissions request prompt as shown below. Click “Accept”.

8. If you are asked to Stay signed in? Please select an option of your choosing. You can select the “Don’t show this again” checkbox to suppress this prompt in the future.

9. You should now be logged into Atlassian Cloud. From here you can select the Atlassian product you are trying to access such as Trello, Confluence, Jira, etc.
